Opening of legal proceedings
If you are subject to an infringement in connection with the exercise of your rights as a data subject or during the processing of your personal data, you may initiate a civil action against the data controller. The court has jurisdiction to hear the case. Proceedings may be brought before the court of the place of residence of the data subject. The court will hear the case out of turn. In the event of an infringement, the subject may claim damages, and the court may order the controller to comply with the exercise of the data subject's rights.
Lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority
If you are harmed in connection with the processing of your personal data, you can contact the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information with your complaint.
